An electronics engineer by education, Bill is a 1960 graduate of Manhattan College with a master’s from Pace University. He is a retired CEO and chairman of The Depository Trust Company and now a historian. He has a passion for the colonial history of the Americas, especially the story of the Jesuit Republic of the Guaraní in Paraquaria and how it contributed to the abolition of the Jesuit order in 1773.
